KWACCIMA honours KAMWIRE's wife, Coy for excellent performance

The President of the Kwara Chamber of Commerce Industry Mines and
Agriculture, (KWACCIMA), Dr. Ahmed Raji, has advocated for continuous
supports and partnership of industrialists for the success of the
council.
He stated this on Monday while presenting Award of Merit to KAM
Industries limited as the best establishment in the state while the Vice
Chairman of the company, Alhaja Maryam Bolanle Yusuf, was pronounced as
KWACCIMA's Chief Executive Officer of the year owing to her numerous
contributions to economic growth.
The President further stressed that "Activities of KAMWIRE industries
has no doubt added values to the economic situation of our nation. We
are always very proud of you because your impact is being felt all over
the world. In the area of employment creation, KAMWIRE has done more
than enough for young graduates by providing them with jobs.
"We now have a more vibrant council that is determined to drive the
economic activities of the great state and it is our hope that you will
be part of the success story by participating in all our activities in
other to stand as a model for businesses to emulate."
In her remarks, Alhaja Maryam Bolanle Yusuf expressed her delight over
the recognition and congratulated the new President of KWACCIMA, Alhaji
Ahmed Raji as well as other officers, wishing them a successful tenure
in office.
Speaking further, Alhaja Yusuf noted that, "it is pertinent to make a
brief remark on the current economic situation as it affects the entire
facets of human endeavours thereby translating negatively on the
well-being of the entire populace."
According to her, "As a viable association composed of Captains of
Industries in our society, KWACCIMA should join voice through her parent
body, NACCIMA in the advocacy on the need to encourage and promote
indeginization policy to further enhance the acceleration of economic
growth and development of our dear country.
"It is no longer news that striving towards the actualization of
economic recovery is one of the cardinal focus of the current
administration but it is also imperative to note that this can only be
actualized through genuine advocacy for the promotion of policies
capable of complimenting the efforts of indigenous industrialists.
She added that, "On our part as a corporate organization, we shall
continue to uphold the standard and ethics of industrialization as well
as continue to improve on our expertise to further continue to make our
products stand out as the best in the local, national and international
markets.
"As we all know that government cannot do it alone, our factories in
Kwara State as well as distribution outlets across the country have
gainfully employed thousands of Nigerians of Skilled, Semi-skilled and
Unskilled cadre, we shall not relent in doing more for the growth of our
nation and benefit of mankind."
