Ibrahim calls Kwara Utd lucky
Wikki Tourists right back, Mustapha Ibrahim has said Kwara United were lucky earning a point in Saturday's Glo Premier League match day 3 duel at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi.
Central defender Emenike Onuoha scored for the Bauchi-based side while top striker Segun Alebiosu levelled the score for the Afonja Warriors in the hotly contested encounter.
Ibrahim said his side could have won the clash comfortably with as many as four goals if the front men had converted the several chances that came their way.
"Kwara United were damn lucky to escape with a point as we completely outplayed them in every department of the game.
"Kwara United got one clear chance at goal and were able to make it count positively unlike ourselves who wasted over seven good chances at goal.
"We had three shots hit the woodwork and onto the field of play in the encounter. I think we're simply unlucky.
"We feel very bad and down right now as we allowed and watched three maximum points slip out of our hands.
"However, we've decided to forge ahead as we can't change the outcome of the match.
"We've resolved to focus on the next match at Abia Warriors with the aim of getting something decent from the match," said the captain of the side to supersport.com.
Wikki Tourists have three points in their pocket from possible nine points in the three-week old Nigerian top flight.
